Side-tuck top, tuck bottom carton (reverse, bottom on panel 1, top on panel 3)

ECMA A20.40.01.03. Top: a winged lid with no dust flaps: the wings on the lid's sides tuck down inside the side panels, with an optional front tongue. Bottom: a tuck lid with its tongue and two dust flaps, opened and closed again by hand, with a friction or a slit lock. The bottom closure hangs from panel 1 and the top from panel 3, so the two open towards opposite faces. Panels are counted from the glue joint, as the ECMA code counts them: panel 1 carries the joint and panel 3 is opposite it. The same die is also ECMA A40.20.03.01: turned end over end, with the glue joint on the other hand, it is the carton filled from its other end.

Friction lock: the tongue's shoulders ride over the dust flaps and hold by friction. Slit lock: two slits on the tuck crease make the tongue's corners catch, so the end has to be pressed to open.
