PD-03-003CUSTOM-TUCK-SNAP-RT

Reverse tuck top, snap-lock bottom carton

A tuck top over a glue-free 1-2-3 snap-lock bottom, with the tuck flap and the locking panel on opposite panels of the tube. Where ECMA A50.10 hangs both from the same panel, this arrangement lets the flaps of neighbouring blanks nest on the sheet, the same saving a reverse tuck makes over a straight one.

Friction lock: the tongue's shoulders ride over the dust flaps and hold by friction. Slit lock: two slits on the tuck crease make the tongue's corners catch, so the end has to be pressed to open.

Which edge of the blank carries the manufacturer's joint. Right mirrors the whole blank - every panel, flap and lock - so the box folds the same way with the joint on the other side.

Production

Which hand the joint is on. It follows the gluer the job is booked on, and it mirrors the whole blank.
